"Innovative cooking" in a few points :

  • The oven is placed at the beginning of the production line, allowing the food to be cooked upstream

  • Thanks to zone cooking technology, we use different processes (toasting, convection, steaming) during the same production run to ensure that the product is cooked in the environment that best suits it, thus improving yield and taste. 

  • This process combines quality and energy efficiency, reducing our environmental footprint compared to a traditional oven.

NOVO INC IS FOOD SAFETY, BECAUSE WE ONLY DO COOKED FOOD.

For years, consumers have been accidentally eating raw chicken. The problem? They are confused by frozen breaded chicken products that have a misleading ready-to-eat label such as : nuggets, tenders, strips and fingers.

In the spring of 2019, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency finally decided it was time to try a new strategy. The CFIA gave the industry an ultimatum to change its processing to only offer fully cooked coated chicken products for the retail market.

That's why our plant, designed and built in the months leading up to this announcement, is designed to offer only fully cooked products, directly meeting the CFIA's most recent and demanding standards.
